High-Power Relay Board Expands Digalog PXI Card Line

NEW BERLIN, Wisc., Sept. 30, 2003 — Digalog Systems Inc. of New Berlin, WI, has announced availability of the new 0000-6612 16-channel high-power relay board, the latest addition to the company’s rapidly expanding line of PXI instrumentation cards.

The 6612 marries compact size with high-density, high-current switching by offering sixteen 10-A channels in a 3U (half-height), single-slot form factor. Each of the 16 Form-A relays can switch the full rated 10A at a maximum switching voltage of 30VDC or 250VAC. Mechanical life expectancy of the relays approaches 50 million operations.

Like the other switching cards in Digalog’s PXI line, the 6612 can be controlled with simple functions in programming, or by means of a pre-loaded list of up to 1024 states. Industry-standard PXI trigger sources may be used to advance the state list. Contact debounce is handled by an on-board timer along with a programmable scan advance delay.

Details and technical specifications for the 6612 and the entire Digalog PXI card line is available at .
