The Obama Administration has asked hospitals to give up $155 billion in future Medicare and Medicaid payments to fund healthcare reform, all the while operating and energy costs continue to rise; insurance providers pay later, pay less and demand more; patients are postponing (profitable) elective surgery; and fewer patients maintain adequate insurance coverage to pay for needed care.
