IT Guru and Senior Executive Robert DeRodes Joins SignatureLink Board of Advisors

RIDGELAND, Miss., Sept. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — As eCommerce stabilizer SignatureLink, Inc. continues on its growth trajectory, accomplished senior executive Robert (Bob) DeRodes has become the latest industry titan to join the eCommerce fraud solution development company's board of advisors.

Spurred by a growing awareness of — and demand for — SecureBuy™, the first all-in-one fraud solution with patented technology to address 100% of online payment fraud and Cybershoplifting™, SignatureLink has seen its board of advisors and board of directors rapidly increase in the second half of 2012. With the addition of DeRodes, the board of advisors now has a 40-year information technology and business operations veteran with a track record of success in transformational change, innovation and service delivery inside large corporations.

"There are very few people out there with more experience than Bob DeRodes in banking, payments and retail," commented SignatureLink CEO Greg Wooten. "Our core business at SignatureLink is eCommerce fraud prevention, which encompasses all of those industries. Bob is an amazing complement to our talented advisory team."

Early in his career, DeRodes served as SVP Operations & Technology for USAA Federal Savings Bank where he opened the de novo bank's operation and took it to become one of the industry's largest card issuers in three years. After assisting American Airlines in the formation of the Sabre Group, he served as chief technology officer for Citibank N.Y. Global Card Products Group, where he oversaw Citi's global cards technology platforms. He later moved into the dual roles of CEO for Delta Technology, Inc. and CIO for Delta Air Lines, where he was responsible for overseeing global information technology and communications for the airline's operations.

Later, as EVP and CIO for The Home Depot, DeRodes led that company's technology transformation. Most recently, DeRodes was the EVP, Global Operations & Technology at First Data Corporation, where he was responsible for product management and delivery; customer service delivery; technology infrastructure operations; print, mail, and card plastics production; customer conversions; procurement; real estate; and enterprise security and compliance for the global enterprise.

As a result of DeRodes' decades-long experience in business and IT, government and industry alike seek his input. He has been a senior IT advisor to the Center for CIO Leadership, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, and the U.S. Department of Justice. In 2005, the Lattanze Center at Loyola College Maryland named DeRodes Information Services Executive of the Year; the following year, Information Week named him one of 25 top technology officers.

Today, DeRodes is founder of DeRodes Enterprises, LLC, a management advisory company, and is a director for publicly held NCR and privately held Veracode. He also serves as board advisor to a number of early-stage technology companies. He joins the SignatureLink advisory board just as that company's SecureBuy™ is poised for widespread adoption by enterprise and individual businesses.
