Givner, 62, of Los Angeles, has been practicing tax law for more than three decades, specializing in income tax planning, estate tax planning, sophisticated retirement plans, asset protection planning, charitable planning, capital gain planning, tax litigation, and the representation of high net worth and high income families, as well as individuals and their closely held corporations. He founded his law firm in 1994; Owen Kaye joined the firm in 1996 and was named partner in 2009 when the firm name changed to Givner & Kaye.
Givner earned a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University Law School and a Master of Laws degree from New York University School of Law. He received a B.A. degree in History from UCLA.
Givner has served as a board member for the L.A. and San Fernando Valley chapters of the Arthritis Foundation, the L.A.
