SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 20, 2009 — The Nonprofit and Golf industries, both rocked by the economy, have joined forces in a unique partnership incorporating charitable donations into online tee time bookings through a new website, http://www.TeeTimes4Charity.com, it was announced today by Steven Schwartz, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GoodPlay Media LLC. GoodPlay Media, the developer of TeeTimes4Charity.com, is a San Francisco Area-based company focused on delivering innovative media solutions that support charitable causes.

To become an affiliated “Member” with TeeTimes4Charity.com, nonprofit organizations simply need to register and sign up at http://www.TeeTimes4Charity.com. Once approved by GuideStar, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization will receive a unique web page on TeeTimes4Charity.com and can start receiving donations from prospective donors, immediately. Public access golf courses have an inventory of tee times available that may be booked by anyone who wants to play that course. Booking tee times through the Internet is fast becoming the industry standard because it is simple, fast, secure and convenient.

Tee times available online are often booked at a discounted rate. When booking tee times at http://www.TeeTimes4Charity.com, not only does a golfer have access to highly discounted rates, but the golfer also makes a tax-deductible donation to a charity of their choosing. The golf donor will receive a special charity rate that will average 20% lower than the standard green fee rate. TeeTimes4Charity.com will initially have access to over 4 million monthly tee times at special reduced green fee rates, through an existing local and national tee time reservation network, representing more than 2,500 golf courses nationwide.
