Gman Debuts Line of Sophisticated and Affordable Men's Accessories to Immediate Success

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Launching to an immediate positive reception, Gman's line of masculine fashion accessories – targeting the void in men's fashion that lies between junior items and fine jewelry – features a wide range of leather and metal bracelets, with other accessories soon to follow. These original and unique items are available in specialty stores and are debuting in major chain retailers in June 2013.

Gman is the result of the extensive industry experience and inspiration of Gary Fields, Chief Executive of Treska, Inc. Treska is a recognized leader of the trend jewelry and accessories market in women's fashion for 35 years.

As a dedicated traveler and overseer of product development for Treska, Fields realized that the necessary elements to create a line of men's accessories were already in place.  "I went overseas to suppliers, saw the beginnings of great components and design for men all around, and thought: I could do something unique with this," Fields said.

Since a soft launch in January 2013, Gman designs have been celebrated and enthusiastically adopted by many regional and fashion-forward independent sellers; Gman has also secured vendor status and distribution for multiple key accounts within private label programs. Starting this summer, the brand will also begin presenting at trade shows.

Gman designs and prices offer modern males who might not normally wear jewelry the opportunity to add extra sophistication and self-expression to their appearance. All products are made from classic, non-precious materials and have a retail value that ranges from $15 to $75.

The Gman team takes design cues from world cultures and spirituality – including tribal Indian and African imagery – and incorporates them into its unique jewelry pieces and accessories.  New items slated for release later this year will feature additional materials such as beaded glass and exotic wood-carvings.

Fields, in shopping for himself, noticed a glaring lack of such pieces on the market. "If I'm in the industry and having trouble finding affordable and stylish pieces," said Fields, "it must be that much harder for the average buyer."

The brand is positioned at the forefront of an expanding market for men's jewelry in the United States. Gman capitalizes on this shift in masculine fashion by capturing inspiration from modern and style archetypes such as "the cowboy," "the biker," "the travelled business man,"  "the hipster," and many more.

By offering a product that is sexy, trendy, and hip, Gman also seeks to expand the bounds of masculinity within the mainstream. Trend-spotting professionals see a strong opportunity here in the market as leading U.S. fashion forecasters have identified men's fashion bracelets as a current "number one look for men."
