Exit Planning Institute Acquired by Snider Premier Growth

New Owner will Focus on Developing Local Chapters

CHICAGO, Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Peter Christman and Richard Jackim, Co-founders of the Exit Planning Institute have sold the Exit Planning Institute to Snider Premier Growth, which is owned by Christopher M. Snider, a member of the Institutes' Board of Governors.  The details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Christman and Jackim will continue to be active members of Exit Planning Institute (EPI or the Institute) including teaching the Certified Exit Planning Advisor program and serving on the Institute's board. The Institute's Certified Exit Planning Advisor program will continue to be based on the critically acclaimed book The $10 Trillion Opportunity written by Jackim and Christman. Mr. Dennis Gano will continue as Executive Director of the Exit Planning Institute.

The sale of the Exit Planning Institute culminates the successful implementation of Jackim and Christman's personal exit plan using the techniques and approaches advocated by the Institute.  The plan was to develop a new leadership team that understood and demonstrated a commitment to the principles upon which the Exit Planning Institute was founded and the experience and capability to take the Institute to the next level.

Mr. Snider has been one of the Institute's most active members since he earned the CEPA designation in 2008. He was elected to the Institute's Board of Governors in 2010, he chaired EPI's first international conference and founded EPI's first US based local chapter, The Exit Planning Institute of Northeast Ohio, in 2011.  Jackim and Christman believe Snider has the passion and the commitment to help achieve the Institute's full potential.

Snider intends to continue with the concepts and framework established by Jackim and Christman and grow the Institute through a network of local EPI chapters across the United States and the World.  According to Snider local chapters are needed to create greater awareness of the tremendous benefits of exit planning while addressing the unique needs of business owners in their communities. "Harnessing and unifying the knowledge and expertise of our members will set EPI's agenda going forward. Creating opportunities for our members to collaborate with each other and business owners is one of the keys to our strategic growth and will be a priority for EPI," said Snider.
