L. Skip D'Orazio, an experienced financial and operational executive, has been named Managing Partner.
According to Karl Hardesty, the firm's founder and CEO, D'Orazio's deep roots in Northern California make him perfectly suited to service current clients in the area while growing the practice. Prior to joining Hardesty, Skip owned and operated Legg, Inc., a specialty contractor providing security equipment and detention hardware to government owned and operated correctional facilities. During his tenure, he grew the company to nearly 70 employees, with revenues in excess of $17 million making it a significant player in the corrections industry on the West Coast. Before Legg, he served as CFO or COO for a number of companies including S.A. Cinelli & Co., Telesoft Partners, Pagoo and Arthur Andersen.
D'Orazio holds a BS in Business Administration from Marquette University and is a licensed CPA in California, Oregon and Wisconsin. He resides in in Danville.
