Empak Corporation Will Give 10% of Its Proceeds to the Gem Project, an Autism Awareness Charitable Organization
NEWARK, N.J., April 26, 2012 — Empak, a Newark, N.J.-based tax preparation and financial planning company, has announced it will donate a portion of its proceeds from their star-studded All White Affair, being produced and hosted by Celebrity Personality Dwight Eubanks, best known from Bravo's hit reality television show, Housewives of Atlanta, in honor of Autism Awareness Month.
On May 19th, 10% of Empak's proceeds from their All White Affair ticket sales will be donated to the Gem Project, a New Jersey not-for-profit organization that educate youth about issues that affect themselves and their communities, such as Autism and Cancer. The Gem Project was founded in 2006 by then Rutgers University sophomore Amanda A. Ebokosia, in an effort to inform youth of such illnesses to foster tolerance, empathy and sensitivity toward people living with debilitating conditions. Ms. Ebokosia has been interviewed by the O Magazine, Hello Giggles and has been featured on the White House blog for her philanthropic efforts. The All White Affair, produced by former Housewives of Atlanta "tell it like it is" personality sensation Dwight Eubanks, will be an enchanted evening full of eclectic style & grace. 98.7 Kiss FM DJ Antoine Qua and local veteran DJ Cut will perform mix master sets during this evening of song and dance. This Affair will take place on Saturday, May 19th, at the Robert Treat Hotel.
