FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Dr. Lanalee Sam, founder of Elite OB/GYN, celebrates her 10-year anniversary in East Fort Lauderdale by opening a second branch at Florida Medical Center, Lauderdale Lakes, FL. The West office, headed by Dr. Marielena Guerra, expands the practice's philosophy, offering a 360-degree view of women's health care and provides more convenient access off the Florida Turnpike for patients who travel from across South Florida for Elite OB/GYN services.

Dr. Guerra's specialty OB/GYN medicine is fostered in multi-cultural experiences; born in Cuba, lived in Venezuela, raised and earned her undergraduate degree in Miami, attended medical school in Dominica, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY and Jacksonville, FL. She follows Dr. Sam into robotics surgery, providing less-invasive procedures, with minimal scaring and rehabilitation time.
