Dream Big America Announces Bawte as July 23 Weekly Winner to Advance to Monthly Finals Show on July 30, Based on America's Votes, and Square Off Against Previous Winners myEDmatch and Looky Loo Light; Prize Package Announced During Finals Show

KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Dream Big America, the first-ever live nationally syndicated radio show pitting start-up business ventures against each other, and broadcast on Doug Stephan's Good Day Show (www.dougstephan.com) each Tuesday at 9:10 am EDT, announced today the winner from the July 23 show. Bawte, from Des Moines, Iowa, (www.bawte.com), and presented by CEO John Jackovin, received the most votes from the nationwide audience. Bawte is a companion app that enables owners to organize warranties, registrations, servicing and technical support for all the products they own.

Voting was brisk from the outset for the third weekly show, which included two other contestants, LifeIce from New York, New York (www.lifeice.com), and WeCounsel from Chattanooga, Tennessee (www.wecounsel.com).

Immediately after the announcement of this week's winner, Dream Big America announced the three finalists for the Finals Show on July 30th. The winners from the three weekly shows in July who earned the right to advance to the Finals Show are:

myEDmatch (www.myedmatch.com/), based in Kansas City, Missouri, is a job-matching site for educators that connect schools and teachers with shared missions, beliefs, and goals. CEO Alicia Herald will present myEDmatch's two-minute pitch. myEDmatch won the July 9 competition.

Bawte (www.bawte.com), based in Des Moines, Iowa, is a companion app for everything an individual owns. Bawte makes owning things simple. Presenting Bawte's two-minute pitch will be CEO John Jackovin. Bawte won the July 23 competition.

Looky Loo Light (www.lookyloolight.com), based in Kansas City, Missouri, was created to provide photographers of all skill levels the ability to achieve the impossible; capture the attention of children during a photo shoot. Presenting Looky Loo Light's two-minute pitch will be CEO Allison Carenza. Looky Loo Light won the July 16 competition.

The Prize package for the Finals Show winner will be announced live during the Finals Show on July 30.

Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us) airs each Tuesday at 9:10am to 9:40am EDT on Doug Stephan's Good Day Program, syndicated to 485 markets across the United States with a weekly listening audience of 3.5 million. In addition to being broadcast on the radio, the Dream Big America Show can be heard via live podcast on the DreamBigAmerica.us website.

Voting begins immediately after the show at approximately 10:00 am EDT and continues for 28 hours until 2:00 pm EDT each Wednesday. The winner of each weekly show is announced every Thursday on the Good Day Show at 9:50am EDT.

Each weekly winner faces off in the Finals Show on the last Tuesday of each month. The national audience again votes for its favorite business venture, and the Finals winner receives cash, support and resources for their business.

The Dream Big America Show features three entrepreneurs pitching their business ideas for two minutes each, followed by a rotating panel of three acclaimed business leaders who offer feedback and suggestions. Tapping into the surging entrepreneurial movement spreading across the country, Dream Big America strives to educate and support start-ups, all while providing an exciting venue for America to choose which new businesses it wants to see hit the market.

In addition to questions from the expert panel, listeners can submit their questions for the entrepreneurs during the live show via Twitter. One question, submitted by a listener, is asked of each contestant.
