DigitalMailer to Showcase My Virtual StrongBox at FinovateFall 2012

eDocument firm to demonstrate value of new online safe deposit solution for organizing and backing up items important to personal finance and identity

HERNDON, Va., July 17, 2012 — DigitalMailer, a leading digital communication provider in the financial industry, will showcase My Virtual StrongBox and debut its latest features at FinovateFall 2012 in New York City on September 12 and 13. This is the first time DigitalMailer is presenting one of its digital communication innovations on stage at Finovate.

"We are excited about the incredible honor to be among the presenters and to be recognized by Finovate for our newest innovation, My Virtual StrongBox," said Ron Daly, President/CEO of DigitalMailer. "With the continued growth of electronic documents and online financial services, and with the move toward electronic signatures on so many legal documents, the need for a digital storage equivalent to a physical safe deposit box is upon us."

My Virtual StrongBox (MVSB) is more conveniently accessed, less costly to provide, and more appropriate to our digital world than the traditional safe deposit box. While there are many places to store gigabytes of files for free, MVSB provides the security, convenience and organization people require before placing important personal and financial documents online. MVSB uses the positive characteristics of traditional safe deposit boxes, cloud-based storage and sync tools to meet customer demand for security and total information privacy and ownership.

Delivered as a SaaS model, accessible via online banking, behind multi-factor authentication and tied to the customer's financial account number, MVSB is the perfect retention and non-interest income service for financial services firms.

With the launch of MVSB in April 2012, DigitalMailer became one of the first electronic document providers to allow customers to place documents into their trusted financial partner's secure online document library. Two financial institutions with combined assets of $6.6 billion and 450,000 customers are already utilizing the solution. Northwest Federal Credit Union (Herndon, Va., $2.4B) was the first to offer MVSB to its customers. The 113,000-member credit union set up free virtual strongboxes for all of its 68,000 electronic statement users as a "Freemium" for saving the institution hundreds of thousands of dollars in postage and printing costs. The second financial institution will be live by the FinovateFall 2012.

The Finovate event is a highly anticipated showcase of innovative financial technology solutions from leading companies and new startups. It serves as a launching pad for new and innovative technology in the financial services industry. DigitalMailer and its MVSB will be one of 64 presentations at FinovateFall in NYC. Each company was selected through Finovate's competitive application process to present and will be given seven minutes to showcase their innovation on stage.
