Beginning this summer, DDS Lab will be sponsoring MMA Fighters Christopher Varner, Jeff Smith, Ashley English, Aaron Bicking, Darrell Horcher and Clark Young. Upcoming fights will be nationally broadcast on Comcast Networks and NBC.
Thousands of teeth are knocked out each year due to sports injuries. Athletes are much more likely to suffer damage if they are not wearing a mouthguard. Saving teeth is not the only benefit wearing a mouthguard provides. Mouthguards can also prevent cheek, lip and tongue injury as well as helping to reduce the impact of blows to the jaw that could cause concussion and neck injury.

The American Dental Association recommends wearing custom mouthguards for the following sports: basketball, boxing, field hockey, football, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, martial arts, racquetball, roller hockey, rugby, skateboarding, soccer, volleyball, water polo, weight lifting, and wrestling, among others.
