DCR Litigation Services Awarded State Contract with Department of Motor Vehicles

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — The California State Department of Motor Vehicles has announced its selection of DCR Litigation Services as the sole provider of certified shorthand reporters and transcription services for all judicial hearings of the new motor vehicle board statewide.

The New Motor Vehicle Board's (NMVB's) mission is to enhance relations between dealers and manufacturers throughout the State of California by resolving disputes in the new motor vehicle industry in an efficient, fair, and cost-effective manner. Also within the New Motor Vehicle Board is a Consumer Mediation Services Program which attempts to resolve disputes between consumers and new motor vehicle dealers and/or manufacturers or distributors through informal mediation.
