DCO Energy Receives EPA-CHP Partner Greenhouse Gas Reduction Recognition

MAYS LANDING, N.J., March 26, 2009 — New Jersey-based DCO Energy, LLC (http://www.dcoenergy.com) is proud to announce that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Partnership Greenhouse Gas Reduction has recognized DCO Energy’s contribution to efficient domestic energy production.

This report estimates that through 2008, the high efficiency of DCO’s nine CHP projects produced an estimated .108 million metric tons of carbon equivalents less than separate heat and power projects.

What does this mean? It translates into an estimated annual emissions reduction equivalent to the emissions from 19,669 passenger vehicles.

“DCO Energy is committed to assisting our clients in reducing carbon emissions and addressing energy efficiency so that future generations can enjoy the environmental benefits we all enjoy today,” said Frank DiCola, President of DCO Energy. “We are proud of our partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency, and would like to thank the EPA for this recognition.”
