Have you ever stopped to think about the explosion of technology that has taken place in the last one hundred years when we are told it took millions of years for the human race to evolve enough to just stand upright and make a crude stone weapon? How did we become so intelligent and advanced in such a short time? As you are pondering that, stop and look around at the diversity of mankind that you are a part of. Why all the different features and skin tones? How come so many different languages?
There is an endless tug-of-war between the evolutionist and creationists as to the answers to these questions.
The evolutionists claim that human beings are descendants of apes. So why are there still apes? Why haven't they evolved into extinction? And just suppose that this ape theory has some basis, then why don't we all have the same characteristics? Why don't we all look similar? Why does the human population consist of different races?
I'm sure that these questions will make the evolutionist bristle. But the creationists do not get a free pass on this subject.
The Bible tells us that we all are the descendants of two people Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve start a family by having two sons – Able and Cain. As happens there was a conflict between these brothers with a sad result of Cain killing Able. After God's admonishment Cain goes east of Eden where he finds a wife. If there was only Adam, Eve and their only surviving son, where did she come from? As we continue on in the book of Genesis the earth's population expands many fold and becomes wicked. This angers God and he commands his faithful servant, Noah, to build an ark. Into this ark Noah is to take his wife and three sons and their wives along with two each (male & female) of all living creatures on the earth to prepare for a flood. The flood comes and wipes out all living things on the earth except those on the ark. After the flood subsides Noah's sons and daughter-in-laws go about repopulating the earth. If we are all off springs of Noah's sons and daughter-in-laws the previous questions again have to be asked. Why don't we all look the same, etc?
