David Gakshteyn and Cleo Londono fell in love over Frrrozen Hot Chocolate at NYC's landmark restaurant, Serendipity 3. Just like in the movies. So they decided to get married on Valentine's Day, at Serendipity 3, in a pool of Frrrozen Hot Chocolate. Fifteen years later, the two are still crazy about each other and crazy enough to do it all over again! On Valentine's Day, the couple will renew their vows in a chocolate wedding that takes the term "for the love of chocolate" to new meanings.

Chocolate symbolizes, as does no other food, luxury, comfort, sensuality, gratification and love, so what better way to renew their vows than by reaffirming their wedding vows in chocolate, surrounded by their two sons, Richard & Jake, who will act as "best men".

Serendipity 3 owner/founder Stephen Bruce, a newly ordained minister, will perform the reaffirmation ceremony for the couple that have stayed together "through thick and chocolate", while in a French-style claw foot tub provided by Eclectic Props – www.eclecticprops.com – that will be filled with the restaurant's iconic drink – Frrrozen Hot Chocolate – a secret blend of 14 exotic cocoas.  After the ceremony, the chocolate loving couple will cut into a Valrhona chocolate cake with chocolate truffle ganache filling, from City Sweets & Confections – www.citysweets.com – where art and cake connect. The bride will wear an exquisite necklace, bracelet and earrings by renowned jeweler, Euphoria New York – www.euphorianewyork.com – totaling 60 carats of pure white diamonds in honor of Serendipity's 60th "Diamond" Anniversary.  The bridal bouquet of chocolate inspired flowers will be by NYC's legendary Plaza Flowers NYC – www.plazaflowersnyc.com

This year, 2014, marks the 60th anniversary for Serendipity 3, serving millions of Frrrozen Hot Chocolate to generations since 1954. Known worldwide for their World Record-breaking menu items, the Upper East Side eatery has been dishing out outrageous food and decadent desserts to celebrities, New Yorkers and world travelers for sixty years. The restaurant will be celebrating all year leading up to the launch of the Diamond Edition release of their wildly successful cookbook, Sweet Serendipity, full of stories and recipes of their rich history and desserts on September 15th.
