Commissioning Thought Leader Joins Syska Hennessy's Chicago Office

Industry Veteran Mike Rosenberg Joins Syska Hennessy Group's Commissioning Practice as Company Expands its Midwest Presence

NEW YORK, Dec. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Syska Hennessy Group, Inc. a global consulting, engineering and commissioning firm, is announcing that veteran industry thought leader Mike Rosenberg has joined the company's Chicago office to lead their regional commissioning practice.

Mr. Rosenberg represents a key component of the overall national growth of Syska Hennessy as well as the company's dedication to providing total building solutions throughout the Chicago and Midwest region.

The commissioning practice for the Syska Hennessy Chicago location was traditionally a blend of individual services from various locations, but the company has now organized the practice to become a centralized core offering at the Chicago office under Mr. Rosenberg's direction.

Mr. Rosenberg brings more than 30 years of experience in design, installation, startup, operation, testing, and troubleshooting of major building systems. A recognized thought leader in the industry, he has served with a number of prominent engineering and commissioning companies throughout the Midwest prior to joining Syska Hennessy. Recognized for his proactive approach with clients, he has worked almost exclusively on commissioning building systems for the past 22 years, including developing commissioning specifications, managing resources and teams, construction observation, implementing and witnessing functional testing of building systems and troubleshooting.

A renowned industry speaker, he has presented many times at the National Conference of Building Commissioning, including hosting the 2000 conference. Mr. Rosenberg is a proponent of a client-focused approach, "If we identify and mitigate potential problems before they occur, we deliver value to our clients that drives straight to their bottom line," he stated.

Syska Hennessy's Chicago office is in the Mies Van Der Rohe architectural masterpiece, formerly known as the IBM building on N Wabash Ave, on the Chicago River.
