Open Source version of popular file sharing and storage application now available on-demand
HOUSTON, Sept. 22, 2009 — click2try(TM) (http://www.click2try.com) today announced the availability of iFolder 3.7 ) in its online catalog of virtualized Open Source applications. A community site, click2try enables users to try applications for free and to use them by subscription.
iFolder, an Open Source project sponsored by Novell(R), is a simple and secure storage solution that helps you back up, access, and manage personal files from any location. iFolder automatically updates your local files onto a network server and synchronizes them onto other computers you use. iFolder boosts productivity by giving you and other designated users collaborative access to shared files. iFolder keeps your distributed and shared data secure through its use of secure sockets layer (SSL) technology and encryption. iFolder also provides a number of advanced features such as LDAPGroup Support and file merge.
