Civitium Obtains General Services Administration (GSA) Approval

ALPHARETTA, Ga., March 21, 2007 — Civitium, LLC, the market-leading consulting firm for municipal broadband and Digital Community initiatives, today announced that it has been named to the list of firms approved by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide Management, Organizational and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) to government agencies. The GSA created the MOBIS schedule to provide a streamlined procurement device for all government agencies to gain access to pre-approved providers of quality management consulting services.

Since 2004, Civitium has served as the lead advisor on a range of broadband matters including strategy, policy, business planning, RFP development, stakeholder assessment and technology issues for more than fifty local governments, state agencies and nonprofit corporations across four continents including Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Chicago and others in the U.S.; Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada; the Twin Cities of Albury, New South Wales and Wodonga, Victoria in Australia; and the City of Johannesburg in South Africa.

"We view this new MOBIS approval as confirmation by the GSA of our capabilities in providing expert strategy and management consulting to government agencies," said Greg Richardson, Founder and Managing Partner for Civitium. "This approval provides a convenient new vehicle for government agencies to procure our services," he added.
