Former Siemens Global Executive to Lead Firm in Next Phase of Growth; Founder, Greg Richardson, Remains to Lead Strategic Initiatives
ALPHARETTA, Ga., April 16, 2007 — Civitium, LLC, the market-leading municipal broadband consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Chris Howard as Managing Partner.
Mr. Howard brings more than 15 years of consulting and managed services experience to Civitium. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales for Siemens Business Services, where he was responsible for facilitating business growth through the leadership of large, new bids and major renewals; directing the revenue management process and facilitating business analysis and business planning for the firm’s Global Outsourcing business unit. Mr. Howard joined Siemens Business Services in February 2002 as Senior Vice President of Siemens Group, where he was charged with further developing the Siemens Business Services interests within the diverse $20 billion Siemens Group in the U.S.
Mr. Howard succeeds Greg Richardson, the firm’s Founder and previous Managing Partner, who will shift his focus to strategy formation, developing new lines of business and working with the firm’s key clients.
The appointment of Mr. Howard signals the next stage in Civitium’s growth; added emphasis on mid-market opportunities in the U.S.; continued expansion in key international markets; and further development of the firm’s private-sector service portfolio.
