The movie is about a young boy saving his father's Chinese restaurant from the evil banker. The father owned the property and the bank wanted the property for a new condo development. The bank finagles a tricky way to illegally foreclose on the restaurant just before Christmas. The 12-year-old boy, played by Jiang Zi Long "JZL," then sets out with his uncle Bart, played by Bertie Higgins, and The Elf, played by Darrin Dowler, to save Christmas. The movie is cute, fun, fast-paced and just makes the viewer feel good.

The feature will have a release on 2000 screens in Mainland China. There is still hope of a USA release and that is an in-progress project. Bertie Higgins explains the movie was made for China as they love family movies and he had never thought about a USA release. "However after our test screenings we realized we have a hit for the USA market." Bertie, no stranger to hits, had a number-one song, Key Largo, in the eighties. Bertie explains whether it's music or movies, "you know when you have a hit and this movie 'Christmas in Hollywood' is a hit movie." "We just hope we can get it in USA theaters quick enough as we know from our test screenings American audiences will fall in love with this movie." As Bertie explains, "this movie is so good even if we do not get it in American theaters this year, come next year and for many years in the future everyone will be watching 'Christmas in Hollywood' as part of their Christmas regiment."

Bertie comments Americans need to see this movie as it inspires hope. The spirit of the movie is contagious and will renew warm feelings of the American Public. In a last-minute effort to get the movie in theaters, the three key cast members were featured in this year's annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, which can be viewed on The Hallmark Movie Channel, December 20th at 5pm, and December 24th at 11AM, along with The Hallmark Channel, December 11th at 2PM. As Bertie says, "the parade was outstanding and a great start so let's now hope we also get this movie in the theaters in time for this year's Christmas. " 'Christmas in Hollywood' is a movie that really does have Hollywood magic. "Christmas in Hollywood" – just maybe this movie will touch your heart and inspire new hope in your life.
