FARMINGDALE, N.Y., May 5, 2009 — Cemtrex Inc. (OTC: CTEI) announced today that Foster Wheeler, a leading Engineering company, awarded a contract to design, supply and install an Insitu Carbon Monoxide (CO) analyzer system package for studying the boiler performance at one of their power stations. The Cemtrex online real-time CO analyzer system will provide CO measurements from the boiler exhaust that will be tied up to the plant control system for online performance analysis.
Cemtrex’s analyzer system was selected for this application since it is the only Insitu monitoring system suitable for boiler monitoring with folded beam technique that is capable of measuring gases in a highly dust laden process stream. The Cemtrex model 3600 is a simple probe type analyzer system that does not need any sample conditioning or extraction from the process stream and is ideal for high dust laden applications, whereas a conventional sampling system will fail in a short time due to filter and sample line choking. Furthermore, the cost of the Cemtrex 3600 system is much less than other competitive extractive systems due to less overall equipment in the system.
