U.S. Bailout Money Is Not Helping Small Business – Company Declares "Help Is on the Way"
CARLSBAD, Calif., July 14, 2009 — If small business is indeed the backbone of the U.S. economy, why isn't anybody working to bail them out? "Our small businesses have historically led our country out of tough times, but now are unable to secure capital to startup or expand, resulting in lower job creation and growth during a time when we need it," said Congresswoman Nydia M. Velazquez (D-New York), Chair of the House Small Business Committee, in a press release.
