Redlands, California restaurant to open January 10th
REDLANDS, Calif., Jan. 10, 2011 — While most industries are stagnant or growing at a slow pace, Cafe Rio Mexican Grill has taken the opposite route by continually expanding, adding jobs and soaring in an otherwise tepid marketplace. Cafe Rio is scheduled to open their 7th California restaurant on January 10, 2011 in Redlands. In the past 18 months Cafe Rio has added Lake Forest, Manhattan Beach, Costa Mesa, Tustin, Oxnard and, most recently, Lakewood to their California locations, and approximately 280 jobs to the marketplace.
Cafe Rio Mexican Grill continues to add jobs, serve award-winning food and donate to local communities at every location. That effort will continue in Redlands. In the past three years the company has opened a bold 20 locations, filling over 900 positions, with plans to open 10-12 additional locations across the country in 2011.
Guests, residents and media are invited to attend the opening ceremony on January 10th at 11:30 am at 27510 W. Lugonia Ave, where a $2500 donation will be given to the Redlands Unified School District.
