Bestnet A/S Employs Jobigen Participants

KOLDING, Denmark, March 23, 2012 — Bestnet A/S announced today that it has established a unique cooperation with Jobigen, a Danish non-profit program which helps unemployed workers find suitable employment opportunities. The mutually beneficial cooperation was created to provide Jobigen participants with the opportunity to work at Bestnet on the consumer packaging of Yellowone Needle Cap©, an inexpensive, safe and permanent solution for the disposal of used and potentially infectious luer-slip syringe needles.

Danish citizens in Jobigen may have been out of the job market for a period of time due to physical injuries, or due to intellectual or developmental disabilities that might prevent them from entering the labor market on a regular basis. However, their disabilities do not completely deprive them from having active and productive employment opportunities within their communities.

The employees at Jobigen have packed 2500 Yellowone Needle Cap© pieces in bags of 5 pieces each, accompanied by a user manual and have attached barcode stickers on the bags in preparation for the April 2012 US consumer launch of Yellowone Needle Cap© through www.amazon.com. This product launch will mark the entry by Bestnet into the US consumer market with one of their products.

Yellowone Needle Cap© is currently sold to relief organizations in Africa and Asia where cases of unnecessary needle stick injuries occur every year due to improperly disposed of and potentially infectious syringe needles. The World Health Organization estimates that over 1.3 million deaths occur each year due to inadvertent needle sticks, usually in Third World Countries.

The unique aspect of the Jobigen/Bestnet cooperation is that these citizens, who are themselves in difficult situations, are provided with an opportunity to help other people in need. This may include victims of a natural disaster, such as the 2010 earthquake in Haiti or the 2011 tsunami in Japan. In addition, citizens at Jobigen are assisting people in Third World Countries where injections with used needles are common. Their work is helping to reduce accidental needle stick injuries in hospitals, clinics, field situations and disaster relief efforts around the globe.

About Yellowone Needle Cap©

Designed with safety in mind, Yellowone Needle Cap© locks securely and permanently into place on readily available beverage cans via an advanced sealing mechanism that makes it virtually impossible to take it off again. The cap not only provides a secure disposal system, but was also designed with the safety of the user in mind as it completely eliminates the need for the user to touch the used needle when disposing of it.

The hole in the top of the lid — where the needle is inserted — is surrounded by two safety edges to help guide the needle into the center of the barbed hole and act to prevent needle sliding and inadvertent needle sticks. When the needle is inserted into the hole, the barbs act to unhook the needle from the syringe. One 12 oz. can secures 100-150 syringe needles, depending on the size of the needles.
