VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Nov. 20, 2007 — HALO Trust International Special Operations Equipment, LLC ) brings the world's first ultra-filtration water bottle to the U.S. market under an exclusive distribution agreement with LIFESAVER(TM) Systems, the United Kingdom-based company that invented the bottle.

The compact LIFESAVER bottle uses a revolutionary ultra-filtration process to remove bacteria, parasites, fungi and all microbiological waterborne pathogens, including viruses, without the use of chemical additives. The bottle filters impurities immediately, and clean, fresh-tasting water is ready to drink after a few pumps of the twist-and-lock handle – eliminating the need for tablets, boiling and other cumbersome and time-consuming methods.
One of the bottle's special features is its unique failsafe technology that shuts off the bottle's cartridge on expiration, preventing inadvertent consumption of contaminated water. Ultra-filtration cartridges only need to be replaced per every 4000 or 6000 liters of water, depending on the filter size used.
