Readers will find themselves brought back to the 1960's in the Deep South at a time of racial turmoil, deep hatred, and racial inequality, as they immerse in this romance novel.

JD Bruton is a retired military veteran and has also retired from the New York City Transit. He hails from Miami, Florida, but has lived in NY for the last 42 years. After retiring, he decided to try his hand at writing, something which always fascinated him, and out of that love for writing came his first book, The Poplar Trees.
