Dr. Ana M. Hernandez has practiced medicine in South Florida for nearly two decades, has seen over 5,000 patients and has delivered the highest quality primary care services over the Dade and Broward County communities during that time. But for Dr. Hernandez, that's only the beginning when it comes to providing quality preventive care for others. As a longtime successful Board Certified Family Physician, Dr. Hernandez has had to deal with the effects of changing skin conditions and body compositions that results from living through the many cyclic shifts in a woman's life- from changes related to the drastic hormonal shifts occuring after pregnancy, to the more protracted decline in hormone levels that occur through a woman's perimenopausal stages and well into menopause. Other factors that are critical to the rate at which her skin ages includes the amount of careless sun exposure and effects of nutritional deficiencies from poor diets, as well as the wide variety of skin types specific to the South Florida population. Dr. Hernandez has been priviledged to have seen the effects of aging through generation after generation - serving not only parents, but also their children, the grandparents and even grandchildren within the same families. As a versatile and accomplished physician, her training and experience in the use of bioequivalent hormone replacement and rebalancing, custom nutritional replacement, natural weight loss programs, and laser facial treatments over the years have given her the advantage of proficiecy within the field of medical aesthetics to provide her patients with a more youthful aging experience.
