The Joy of Soap was created after years spent traveling for work, which can be fun and exciting while also bad for your skin. For years, Melissa had trouble finding soaps that weren’t full of skin-drying chemicals - and ultimately decided the way to get the finest possible hand made soaps was to start making her own, from natural ingredients and with the kind of care and craftsmanship that would set them apart. From this The Joy of Soap was born. In addition to the dry atmosphere on airplanes, commercially made soaps placed in hotel bathrooms add to skin dehydration. All of our natural soap is hand crafted, hand cut and hand wrapped in small batches, using certified organic oils, therapeutic grade essential oils and ingredients that are gentle on your skin.
