Sterling Rock Productions Company Profile

SRP was founded by creative producer Grace McPhillips in 2009, to create high-quality screen projects for the good of our audience and of the local industry. Grace McPhillips, founder and executive creative producer of Sterling Rock Productions Grace serves on the Board of Directors of the Screen Actors Guild Midwest, and has served on the Board of the Illinois Production Alliance (which lobbies for tax incentives in the film industry), where she spearheaded an initiative to bring the production of major motion pictures and television shows to Chicago. She also founded the Chicago Acting in Film Meetup, a professional support group of over 150 screen actors. Our Story Filmmaking is an addiction full of tremendous highs and unbelievable lows. It takes passion, persistence, and unending love to make movies and more importantly, good business sense to bring the next one into the world. This is why Sterling Rock Productions creates films and believes in the business of filmmaking. Our fans are women, 51% of the movie going audience, fans of history and literature, and people who are sick of the fluff, ready for entertainment that have good stories, and are truly escapist. Compelling stories with positive messages are what we believe in.
