From Amma's home in Southern India she fulfills her mission through the overseeing and direction of varied community service projects undertaken by the Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari Trust which seek to improve the lives of India's poor and disenfranchised. As part of the many activities undertaken by the Trust, Amma personally prepares and serves food for the villagers in her area, leads programs for the women's prison and orphanage, and directs a summer school program for the children. In addition, Amma provides medical assistance to thousands of villagers in Karnataka state with the participation of a US-based charitable organization, Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari Karnataka Projects. From around India and the world at large Amma welcomes all to visit her abode to experience the peace and uplifting of spirit which comes from the practice of meditation, prayer and celebration based upon respect and recognition of all religions and spiritual traditions - all faiths as well as an all-encompassing yet unstructured faith in Divinity.News from Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari Trust:
