Slim Company Profile

Slim was created in San Francisco by Yair Levin and Zeev Vax. Both originally from Israel, they were looking to keep in touch with friends and family back home but found themselves frustrated with the burden of combing through social media to find important updates. In the Bay Area, they met fellow Middle Easterners Yassine and Hamza, two app developers who also complained of the time they wasted on social media. Together they created Slim to easily learn about and respond to important events back at home. Thanks to Slim, they are now able to build and sustain long-lasting relationships no matter where they are. And as for peace in the Middle East, if Jews and Muslims can agree on colors and icons to build a fantastic app, surely they can agree to live in harmony back at home!
