The Pacific Meso Center is a division of the Pacific Heart, Lung & Blood Institute, a 501(c)(3) non-profit medical research institute established in 2002. The Pacific Meso Center is dedicated to the discovery of advancements in the treatment and prevention of mesothelioma. The Pacific Meso Center supports the research efforts of renowned surgical oncologist Dr. Robert Cameron, the innovator of the lung-saving Pleurectomy/Decortication, a less radical surgical option for patients with pleural mesothelioma.
