Derek Savage writes novels, scripts, kid’s books and music. From his novels and screenplays, God's Apocalypse, a Love Story that's set around the Prophecy of Revelation; The Dancer, the life and times of a male dancer; to Sweet Revenge, where a man gets justice against the street gang that murdered his family; to his children’s stories, Cool Cat, Trolly the Trout, Barnyard Buddies, Donny the Dinosaur, Baby Cat and Bible Birdie; six series of books that depict good positive messages and teaches children in a fun and loving way. Derek produces and directs the Cool Cat films, and he is now in production on the Feature Film, "Cool Cat Saves the Kids." Derek gets asked how Cool Cat come to be. Back in his childhood Derek created Cool Cat as an imaginary friend and then brought the charter to life to bring happiness to kids worldwide. Now Cool Cat is a complete Brand of eight books, DVDs, clothing line, and an upcoming feature. Derek's true passion is writing, producing, and creating stories, and he now has a couple dozen to his credit. He is single and lives in Los Angeles.
