Bellaboo is committed to using safe, high quality natural and sustainable ingredients. We use, wherever possible, ingredients that are found in nature and sourced from plants, fruits, vegetables and minerals. Our philosophy is that you want to feed your face with the goodness of healthy, natural ingredients vs harsh synthetic chemicals with no long-term known effects on your health and the environment. We all know eating a bowl of fruit is better for you than a bowl of chips. Same principle applies to skin – nurture with nature vs caustic chemicals. Because skin care formulations are oil in water they do require preservative and emulsifying systems to make them stable, protect against moulds and bacteria and make them safe to use over time. We use globally proven preservative systems that are always at less than 1% and boosted with natural preservatives. There are no parabens, petroleum, sulphates, artificial colors or fragrances, or animal derived ingredients in any of our formulations. All of our ingredients pass FDA standards for safe use cosmetics. Our packaging is recyclable. Lastly, we do not test on animals…but we do test on teens. Every Bellaboo products has the stamp of approval from our teen testers who verify that Bellaboo All Natural Skin Care Totally Works and is Totally Awesome!!! TRUTH IN LABELLING All of our products meet international standards for cosmetic labeling. All ingredients are listed on our packaging and on our website All ingredients are listed in order of ingredient level – from highest percentage to lowest. We do encourage all first time users to do a patch test on the inner arm first before using any new product for any sensitivity or reaction. If the patch tests results in a reaction we recommend you do not use.
