Welcome to Barcelona Cooking Our hands-on recreational cooking classes are designed to provide a unique and memorable experience. Spanish families are profoundly proud of their heritage and enthusiastically passionate about their local cuisine. The kitchen table is the cornerstone of any Spanish home, where the conversations about food and wine are the most common while enjoying a meal with family and friends. Join us at the kitchen table, with our professionally trained chefs – in our state-of-the-art kitchen, where you will learn recipes of some of our most traditional Spanish dishes, all prepared with the best organic vegetables and locally farmed meat products. Our menu generally consists of four courses, which include several tapas (appetizers), a main dish – Paella being the most popular, and dessert. We serve a wonderful Rioja red and Albariño white wines as you prepare and enjoy your meal. We also provide recipe packets for you to take notes and bring back home with you. The classes are designed for every skill level. Whether you are a novice in the kitchen, our an experienced cook, there are many hands-on opportunities for you to participate with various degrees of difficulty. Perhaps you are just the supportive spouse? There is plenty of wine for you to enjoy while the others prepare the meals. Classes are twice a day Monday through Saturday. There is an afternoon and an evening class–please check our schedule for times and availability. We generally allocate 3-4 hours per class. There’s more! We also offer guided tours of the Boqueria market before select classes – please check the schedule. The market is only 50 meters from our kitchen. Join our professional chef in selecting some of the organic ingredients for the class you will be attending. It is also a great opportunity to learn the history of the market, and ask plenty of questions. We promise that one of the highlights of your visit to Barcelona will be the time you spend with us. You will learn how to prepare traditional Spanish dishes. You will enjoy a great meal, which you have prepared, along with wonderful Spanish wines.
