Born in Alabama to a military family, I have had the pleasure of traveling around this great United States. I learned from early on to appreciate all that I have and to have respect for others. I come from a background with strong values and do my best every day to live them in my personal and professional life. Going to high school and college in Colorado and loving the mountains there, it was a very easy decision to make the move to Alaska 28 years ago. Raising our three sons in Anchorage, I have an extensive knowledge of the school systems, social and faith communities, sports and recreational opportunities, many of which our boys have participated in.
