Mr. Alsop joins Deep Web Technologies with 20 years of experience in information technology. In his role as VP of Business Development, Mr. Alsop will drive the adoption of Deep Web Technologies' Explorit Research Accelerator through strategic partnerships with companies that want to embrace the power of federated search. Before joining Deep Web Technologies, Mr. Alsop was the CEO of Packet Analytics Corporation, a venture-backed Los Alamos National Laboratory spinout that focused on network forensic search of high-volume network data. As CEO, Mr. Alsop secured the initial equity funding for the company, developed the go-to market strategy, crafted the partnership program, recruited both the board of advisors and the board of directors and secured early customers for the company.
Mr. Alsop's expertise fuses tactical mastery, technological proficiency, operating know-how and an ability to develop strong corporate relationships to help drive the growth of young technology companies. His foresight and determination has led to the formation of four different startups. One of these startups became part of a three-way merger to form Panorama Point Corporation which was then sold to a top-tier New Mexico search engine optimization company.
