America’s Vacation Center Holds Fourth Summit

Provides its independent agents outstanding training and support

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 9, 2007 — America’s Vacation Center (AVC), one of the leading travel agencies in the nation, today announced the successful completion of its fourth summit held exclusively for AVC agents on Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) Pearl Inaugural from December 16 – 22, 2006.

AVC, http://www.JoinAVC.com, provided its affiliated agents with the opportunity to meet with their fellow agents in person, along with top executives from AVC and NCL. Agents also attended training seminars and open forums held by AVC where they could ask questions and discuss new ideas.

"We are incredibly passionate about building a sense of community. The majority of our affiliated agents are home-based and look forward to meeting face-to-face with other agents in the AVC network," said Van Anderson, co-president of AVC. "In addition, our summits provide another avenue for training, business development, and to explore new ways that AVC can improve."

"We had breaks in between meetings, but most of us never left because we were so eager to learn more," said Beverly Vigneault, an Authorized Independent Agent at AVC. "I am amazed at the community AVC has built, and that the executives at AVC took the time to meet with each and every one of us regarding our business and how we were doing."

More than 75 AVC agents attended the event, and most were also present when AVC was announced NCL’s President’s Elite "Travel Agency of the Year" by Terry Burke, NCL’s vice president of business development.

"Being in the Garden Villa as Van Anderson accepted NCL’s ‘Travel Agency of the Year Award’ was a thrill for the agents who have been around for a while, helping AVC earn that award, and an inspiration to the newer agents who know they’ve joined the best team in the business," said David Locke, an Authorized Independent Agent of AVC. "I’m always impressed with how AVC’s executive team is so willing to try something new, and how responsive they are to suggestions and ideas from those of us with our ‘feet on the street.’ The AVC Summit was a success on so many levels!"
