American Fidelity Assurance Company to Use FastTrack's Life Waiver Tools and Administrative Services to Assist in the Processing and Adjudication of Waiver of Premium Claims

American Fidelity will use FastTrack's advanced technology to automate the collection of medical claimant information, streamline administrative tasks and provide optimal adjudication assessment data

BEDMINSTER, N.J., Jan. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — FastTrack RTW Services & Solutions, a division of Kamine Technology Group, LLC, formally announces the signing of American Fidelity Assurance Company as its latest client. American Fidelity will implement FastTrack's Life Waiver Tool (LWT) product, which is designed to automate the medical and administrative tasks associated with waiver of premium claims. LWT takes key claimant data and inputs it into an advanced Physical Capabilities Form (PCF), which then uses a specialized validated occupational library to identify and compare occupations based on the claimant's individual restrictions and limitations as determined by their medical provider. An evaluation is then made to determine the claimant's ability to perform their own occupation or any occupation, as specified in the claimant's life insurance policy. This automation both standardizes and speeds the waiver of premium adjudication process while providing optimal adjudication assessment data. In addition to licensing FastTrack's LWT software, American Fidelity will also utilize FastTrack's Administrative Services to perform specific administrative tasks, which will allow American Fidelity's claims personnel to focus on core adjudication decision-making functions.

Ron Byrne, Senior Vice President at American Fidelity, stated, "When we first became aware of FastTrack's innovative Life Waiver Tool, we were excited about the possibilities to optimize the waiver of premium claims adjudication process for our domestic waiver block. One of the things we really liked about the software was the operational efficiencies it presents to us; easing the administrative load on our claims analysts, while simultaneously getting better information on which to adjudicate our claims."

Carl Capato, Kamine Technology Group's Senior Vice President of Risk Management Strategic Partnerships, stated, "We are very excited to welcome American Fidelity on board as our newest FastTrack customer. Market receptivity to our Life Waiver Tool and the opportunities it brings to Life Insurers for streamlining their waiver claims adjudication process has been outstanding, providing a whole new level of detail for waiver claims analysis as well as creating associated financial benefits generated from such optimizations."
