aDealaDay.com Provides a Simple Approach to Reviewing Daily Deals in Less Than a Few Minutes Each Day

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla., Dec. 30, 2011 — Many national retailers, such as Wal-Mart and Sears, now offer a deal a day on their websites, while many local daily-deal websites, such as Groupon and Living Social, offer multiple daily deals each day. Daily-deal aggregators collect information from multiple daily-deal sites and provide an overview of the offerings.

With the daily-deal market still in its infancy, the science of effective deal aggregation is still a work in progress. Furthermore, the sheer volume of the aggregated content, along with the attached information about deal, can be overwhelming. For users, reviewing and sorting through the aggregated content can be as time-consuming as visiting each site directly.

“I only have a few minutes each day to check out today’s deals, so I subscribed to a few deal aggregators,” said Jeff Pingley, owner of aDealaDay.com. “The amount of information they provided was just too much to sort through and I had to keep spending more time trying to customize my interests.”

“Just give me all of the headlines in one place,” he thought to himself. “What is it, and how much does it cost? If it interests me, I’ll click the headline and get the details. Surprisingly, I couldn’t find a single aggregator that took such a simple approach, so I decided to create one.”

aDealaDay.com collects deals from daily-deal sites nationwide, from both major retailers and from over 80 local cities and publishes the headlines to the site for visitors to review. Visitors also have the option to subscribe and have this information sent to them automatically each day in an e-mail format that matches the simple design of the site.
