iGateway suite simplifies QuickBooks credit card processing
SAN DIEGO, June 22, 2009 — Until now, businesses that have purchased Intuit’s QuickBooks Merchant Services(TM) have found themselves with a popular credit card processing gateway – and little or no knowledge of how to connect it to their Web sites. But thanks to Aboutimage Design and Photography’s release of iGateway ), a free plug-in component that connects Joomla!(R) Web sites to QuickBooks Merchant Services, that problem is a thing of the past.

For small business owners, that translates to a simple way to accept credit cards directly from their Joomla! Web sites. There is no additional work: iGateway sends the money directly to the vendor’s QuickBooks Merchant Solutions account, shows the customer a customizable thank-you page and sends the customer an e-mail receipt. The system features robust admin controls that allow the vendor to customize credit card entry fields and sends the vendor an e-mail notification after every successful transaction.
