netBoot/i provides a centrally managed SAN Boot solution
using standard Ethernet network adapters that allows

for desktops and servers, reduce datacenter power and
cooling requirements, and improve system resiliency,
availability, flexibility, and recoverability.
Key functionality in netBoot/i v2.5 includes:
-- P2V, V2P, V2V, P2P migration capabilities across
dissimilar hardware and Microsoft or VMware virtual machines

multiple devices from a single shared iSCSI boot image.

clients into a Microsoft Active Directory Domain

with boot default, failover, and user-selectable target

these are now available as a Linux daemon running under
Linux

Vista Enterprise directly from DVD to iSCSI storage
-- Support for Diskless PCs and Remote Boot Flexible Desktop
Computing Options under the Windows Vista Enterprise program
