The primary function of the advisory group is to serve as a communication vehicle between the South Carolina provider community and Palmetto GBA, the Medicare Part B carrier. The POE Advisory Group provides input and feedback on training topics, provider workshops and events. The group also identifies education issues and recommends effective means of information dissemination to appropriate providers, suppliers and their staff.
