(OTC Bulletin Board: CMCA), announced today that it has entered into a non-exclusive distribution agreement with ScanSource Security Distribution, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC) for a WCCTV kit.ComCam's CEO Don Gilbreath explained, "Our WCCTV kit converts an existing CCTV camera into a rugged portable wireless system. Imagine a security guard (or team) at a large facility no longer anchored to a monitoring station. By using ComCam technology and a Symbol handheld mobile computer, the security guard can now make rounds using cameras in remote areas with our easy-to-implement system." According to Tony Sorrento, vice president of merchandising for ScanSource Security Distribution, "ComCam's products will enable resellers to take their security solutions to another level, allowing more options for fixed and mobile security applications. The WCCTV conversion kit provides wireless connectivity and mobility for the CCTV security sector. Our relationship with Symbol makes this partnership a natural." The WCCTV conversion kit consists of a ComCam-10 MicroServer and either a Symbol MC50 or MC70 Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA) and will run ComCam's "Pocket C3" command-and-control and display software. This solution works with commercial and military grade pan-tilt-zoom cameras as a remote device, or in control room with 100's of cameras through an existing video switch, giving the cameras wireless IP networking capabilities and providing both video display and camera control on a rugged handheld device.
