Rolist(TM) Partners with ah-ha.com to Launch BannerBoxes

A New Contextual Marketing System Will Enable Website Owners to Generate Additional Revenue by Displaying ah-ha.com Pay-Per-Click Listings on Their Sites

BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug. 28, 2003 -- Web site owners can now share revenue with online advertising service provider ah-ha.com, Inc. (www.ah-ha.com), thanks to a new partnership between ah-ha and search engine developer Rolist(TM) (www.rolist.com). Under the agreement, approved sites can syndicate content from ah-ha.com via BannerBoxes (www.bannerboxes.com), a new pay-per-click advertising solution that allows Web site owners to display ah-ha paid listings.

Site owners, or publishers, interested in generating advertising dollars from their sites can sign up as a BannerBoxes Syndicator. The automated process allows publishers to choose keywords related to their site's content and specify the size of BannerBox they wish to display. All publishers are reviewed for site content and relevance to their chosen keywords.

Once accepted as a BannerBoxes Syndicator, publishers can view all ads in their keyword categories and block those they feel are irrelevant or competing with their own service or product. When a visitor comes to the publisher's site, the patent-pending Rolist rotating technology displays ah-ha.com BannerBoxes associated with keywords the publisher chose. The next visitor will see BannerBoxes associated with the other keywords.

"Our partnership with ah-ha.com, Inc. gives us the ability to offer publishers a wide base of advertisers -- and advertising dollars," said Charles Petruzzi, CEO of Rolist. "The Rolist technology allows our publishers to automatically display a new set of ads each time someone visits their sites. The ads are more interesting to repeat visitors, because they're not seeing the same ones over and over, which should result in higher click- through rates and greater revenue for publishers. If you're a publisher, it's an instant way to start making a profit on your site."

Along with the capability to choose which ads appear on their sites, publishers have the option of customizing the look and feel of BannerBoxes. Site owners receive Cascading Style Sheets and one line of JavaScript code to cut and paste into their existing html code to begin instantly displaying BannerBoxes.

"The BannerBoxes syndicated advertising platform is an alternative to those developed by Google and Overture, but we added features people were asking for -- including giving publishers more control over the ads they display on their own sites -- and resolved issues, like displaying the same ads that publishers feel have cost them valuable clicks," said Petruzzi. "The combination of ah-ha.com advertisers and Rolist technology makes for a powerful revenue opportunity for Web site owners."
