Waring and Legendary French Chef, Paul Bocuse, Enter Into an
Industry First Partnership
STAMFORD, CT - Oct. 15, 2001 -- Waring, a leading
manufacturer of professional food preparation appliances for
the commercial industry introduces an industry first
partnership with renowned celebrity chef, Paul Bocuse.
Waring, universally known for introducing the first blender
to American consumers, is one of today's leading
manufacturers of professional quality, small appliances for
the home, foodservice and laboratory industries.
Paul Bocuse started his legendary culinary career at the
early age of 10 by cooking his favorite dish at that time,
sautˇed veal kidneys with mashed potatoes, and right in his
father's kitchen. Five years later he began as an
apprentice at the Restaurant de la Soierie. Later, he worked
at La Pyramide alongside the legendary Ferdnand Point. In
1958 he won his first Michelin star, 1962 his second and his
third in 1965. He is recorded as having the quickest
promotion of Michelin stars at that time.
Chef Bocuse will be appearing on behalf of Waring at trade
shows, advising the company on food service product
development and endorsing Waring Commercial Products.
