InfoVista to License NETWORK HARMONi Products
InfoVista Will License NETWORK HARMONi Agent Technology to
Support Service Level Agreements, Network and Application
Performance Monitoring
SAN DIEGO, CA - April 24, 2001 -- NETWORK HARMONi, Inc.
(NHI), an enterprise performance monitoring software
developer, today announced a strategic OEM licensing
agreement with InfoVista (NASDAQ: IVTA), a global provider
off advanced software which monitors, analyzes and reports
on the performance and quality of services of information
technology infrastructure, (ITI), including networks,
servers and applications. As a part of the agreement,
InfoVista will license NHI's software products and embed the
intelligent agent technology into its SLA reporting and
proactive management solutions ( VistaViews ), giving
InfoVista's customers accurate and reliable data for
monitoring and managing service level agreements, networks,
host systems and application performances.
Network, system and application performance is quantifiable,
and directly affects a company's bottom line. NHI's
enterprise performance monitoring software delivers both
observational and active forms of real-time, network, system
and application performance data. This data can be used to
reduce mean time to repair problems, increase end-user
productivity and empower IT managers to resolve performance
