11-Day African Safari Introducing President-elect Barack H. Obama’s Ancestry

NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2008 — In the wake of yesterday’s Presidential Election, New York City-based 2AFRIKA, INC. announced this morning a new addition to its Safari Portfolio - an 11-DAY PRESIDENTIAL HERITAGE SAFARI - introducing president-elect Barack H. Obama’s Ancestral Heritage.

The 11-DAY PRESIDENTIAL HERITAGE SAFARI will depart daily from the United States, bound for Nairobi, Mt. Kenya Forest, Lake Nakuru National Park, and the Maasai Mara Game Reserve for a fully inclusive Game Safari before heading northwest to the city of Kisumu, located on the shores of Lake Victoria and a mere stone’s throw away from the birthplace of Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. in 1936.

An additional two nights are spent in Kisumu, during which time travelers will visit the village of Kogelo, the final resting place of Obama Sr. (and still today the home of Barack Obama’s extended family), drive to the shore of Lake Victoria, visit the Kisumu Museum and the city, as well as visit a Luo ethnic group village to learn firsthand more of the cultural heritage of the United States’ first African-American President.

Starting at only $2,999 per person + tax (during certain seasons), 2AFRIKA, INC. is proud to be the first African Tour Operator to launch a PRESIDENTIAL HERITAGE SAFARI. The blend of African Safari and Luo ethnic group culture is a perfect journey for couples, families and ‘common interest’ groups such as Museums, Religious Organizations and schools.
